BORGO VALSUGANA


Altitude: 380 meters a.s.l.

It is considered the political and administrative main town of Valsugana. Borgo offers the most remarkable urban river scenery of Trentino and it is dominated by the imposing Castel Telvana. Borgo is crossed by the Brenta river which has contributed to give to the village a Venetian mark.




Sightseeing: the Ausugum course with its stores and the baroques arcades, S. Anna, S. Rocco, S. Francesco, Della Pieve churches, the monastery of  S. Damiano, Telvana castle (private), the Venetian bridge on the river Brenta, Ceschi palace.






The widespread museum of Borgo Valsugana is made of exhibitions, some private, other public and other belonging to the associations all coordinated by the culture councillorship, through the library.
