SAN CRISTOFORO Accommodation: see "Pergine Valsugana" Events: see "Pergine Valsugana" Well-equipped place of staying lying on the northern shore of the Caldonazzo lake, sourrounded by hills rich in fruits. It is the summer seat of the University Sporting Centre (C.U.S.). Sightseeing: Church of S. Cristoforo According to the tradition the building rises up on the ruins of a temple dedicated to Diana and Neptune. The place is mentioned in the early XIII century. The reconstruction dating back to the year 1703 cancelled the original Romanesque – Gothic set-up of the building and the frescoes. The little bell seemed to be the ancient one in the entire territory of Pergine.
